Part-time Schools, Youth and Family Worker

£11440 Annualised hours (To be reviewed after 6 months)

Working closely with the Minister, churches and schools in Hatfield Peverel, Maldon, South Woodham Ferrers and Witham. To support and encourage the development of: identify, self-confidence, security, significance, wholeness and meaning together with Christian values in young people and families.

Applicants to understand how school systems work, and have experience of organising events for children and youth in schools, local churches and within the local community for a diverse range of backgrounds and needs. A nationally recognised qualification in children’s, youth or community work is desirable but not a necessity and will consider passionate applicants.

Approximate number of flexible hours to work each week to include evenings and possibly weekends: 20

Salary £11.00 per hour plus travelling expenses 0.45p/mile. 

Appointment will be subject to reference and DBS clearances, and are for a fixed term of 2 years with the option to be reviewed.
